What is The Grant Society?
The Grant Society is a community of small entrepreneurs and aspiring grant writers focused on sharing knowledge and resources related to grant writing. We host monthly meetings to help members enhance their skills, learn about grant laws and develop better proposals.
Who can join The Grant Society?
The Grant Society welcomes small entrepreneurs and individuals who are new to grant writing. Membership is selective to ensure a supportive environment and quality learning experience.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes. There is a monthly membership fee due on the first of each month. If the fee is not paid by the fifth, you will lose access to society resources and materials.
What can I expect from the workshops?
The workshops are interactive and engaging, focusing on proposal structure, research techniques and understanding grant laws. You will have the chance to ask questions and receive feedback on your work.
Will I receive individual feedback on my proposals?
Yes. One of the benefits of The Grant Society is constructive feedback on your proposals during meetings and workshops. Members are encouraged to share their work and receive insights from peers.
Are meetings held online or in person?
Meetings may vary between online and in-person formats depending on the preferences of the group and any applicable guidelines. Details are communicated to members in advance.
What if I cannot attend a meeting?
Attending is encouraged for the most benefit, but conflicts happen. Meeting notes and resources are shared with members who are unable to attend.
How is my information kept confidential?
All members sign a confidentiality agreement as part of the membership process. It prohibits sharing or disclosing any society information with non-members.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, members can cancel at any time. There is no prorated refund for fees already paid.
